The Assignment: To transform a series of travel etiquette “out-certs” into a mobile app exclusively for Blackberry users. It needed to stand apart from the sea of Blackberry apps on the market.
The Product: Utilizing the latest web kit technology, we collaborated with editorial and business sides to create an app that featured everything from sage advice on what not to say to gestures to avoid when facing down an angry anti-American mob anywhere in the world.
The app—which is available only in the Verizon VCast app store—was featured at the mobile phone giant’s developer conference for its slick interface. It continues to help the traveling Blackberry users of the world embarrass themselves less.
