The Engagement: We worked on two programs with InStyle.
The first program was Gifting in 3d. Utilizing the latest whiz-bang Augmented Reality technology, we brought the holiday cover to life… almost literally. On the site that we made, users could take the cover of the magazine, hold it up to their web cam and see a 3d-video holiday message from cover-celeb Taylor Swift. In addition, we created a holiday gifting guide where we showcased lots of trend, fashion and shopping tips.
In the second program, the InStyle Boutique, we integrated a shopping recommendation engine and used it as a platform to create a loyalty program.
Users came to the site and interacted with advertisers’ products. As they indicated which products they liked, they’d earn points toward winning all sorts of prizes. They’d watch videos, share products to their social graphs and save their favorite products to “Love Lists”.
